ThatGuy Ontheweb is the brainchild and identity concept of Me, Tom Gormley (tg), based in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. I have lived in DFW since the early 1990s, except for a wonderful period of time in Lubbock, Texas attending Texas Tech University.

I consider myself a web publisher, which you may not have heard of before today. In the web creation world, there exists two types of website creators: designers and developers. The web designers are the people that are in charge of creating the visual appeal of a website. They are the creative type. The web developers, however, are the people behind the scenes. Developers are the people building the functionality of the website, like processing your shopping cart order. A web publisher is a blend of the two. Using skills that encompass the creative and the programming, the publishing of a website becomes simpler and more efficient.
